NOW member Sarah Timmerman recently completed a four-month internship with the Feminist Majority in Washington, DC. While there she protested the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh, the defunding of Planned Parenthood and worked to help several candidates. Sarah will give us an insider's view of what the Feminist Majority fights for and how Congress is or is not influenced.
We will also discuss what other local progressive organizations are working on and plan for April 2nd Equal Pay Day.
