In recognition of the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion nationwide, Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York and Rochester NOW invite you to join us for an upcoming virtual program, Life in New York State After Roe v. Wade.
The constitutional right to an abortion has never been more at risk. According to the Guttmacher Institute, in 2021, more state abortion restrictions were enacted than in any year since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973.
As we await a Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health, a case that could effectively end federal protections for abortion, our collective work has never been more important. We are grateful to be protected by the Reproductive Health Act in New York State, but we know that a crumbling abortion infrastructure nationwide affects us all.
Join us as we recommit ourselves in the fight for abortion justice.
