Women have historically been guaranteed fewer rights than men. The ERA, Equal Rights Amendment, would put women into the U.S. Constitution. In other words, it would raise women's legal rights to the same level of constitutional protection as men.
A brief history of the ERA campaign and why it is important to pass the ERA will be discussed before our monthly business meeting.
