The Rainbow Dialogues

The Out Alliance is expanding its Shoulders to Stand On (STSO) program to include this special Rainbow Dialogues Initiative: A Bridge From the Past To the Present.
This annual event will bring people together for a non-threatening interactive conversation using new archival collections in a variety of formats. We will creatively engage participants in an open and honest discussion on current Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Queer (LGBTQ) diversity issues.
This will also be the first annual Rochester Humanities Archival Recognition celebration to recognize those involved in archiving and preserving our history. The Rainbow Dialogues Initiative will be an ongoing program in partnership with the Rochester Public Library (RPL) and ImageOut, Rochester’s globally recognized LGBT Film Festival.
