Rochester NOW and Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York invite you to join us virtually for our upcoming program, Roe v. Wade Anniversary: Protecting Rights in a Pandemic.

January 22, 2021 is the 48th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States in 1973. While Roe v. Wade remains the law of the land in all 50 states, the COVID-19 pandemic has spurred renewed attempts to restrict access to safe and legal abortion. Join us virtually as we celebrate this historic Supreme Court victory and confront the challenges it continues to face.

Hear remarks from:

  • Sarah Timmerman, Rochester NOW President
  • Michelle Casey, President and CEO, Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York
  • U.S. Congressman Joseph Morelle (NYS 25th Congressional District)
