The Suffragist City Parade

Saturday, September 14, 2019   10:00 am   West Main St. to the Susan B. Anthony House, 17 Madison St., Rochester, NY

Join Rochester NOW and march in the Suffragist City Parade! Or cheer us on as a spectator. Either way, you're guaranteed to have lots of fun.

This year's theme is We the People, Equality for All People. The parade steps off at 10:00 am. at Plymouth Ave. and Main St, travels west on Main St. Madison St. to go by the Susan B. Anthony House. The parade arrives at the Susan B. Anthony Square Park at 10:45 am.

In the park there will be:

• An introduction by the Rochester Museum & Science Center to their project of the 40 most inspiring local women who were firsts in their chosen field.
• Votercade with its vintage car - find out where votercade will be in 2020.
• Art Force 5 from Alftred University will return with a community art project.
• A performance by the Harriet Tubman singers.

The event's timing is such that those who wish to head off to Seneca Falls for the National Women's Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony may do so with ease.
